I can’t remember whether I’ve posted this before…. I searched but didn’t find it, so I assume it hasn’t been posted yet. I wonder though, if someone can name the family, because I haven’t a clue.
A monster Erotylid beetle lumbers about.
Thin-waist, pigmented wings, hints of warning color – but what Family?
This caterpillar used silk to construct a home by folding a part of a leaf over. The frass in the background of the second image is presumably from the caterpillar, although I didn’t notice any herbivory within the folded leaf.
