Bernald, Marc, Laura, Alexa and Mauri are pictured below working on macroinvertebrate community diversity in headwater streams at San Ramon. Bernald is an invited assistant from UCR specializing in Gerridae taxonomy. In some photographs, a shade cloth used to exclude leaf litter from a stream can be seen hovering above the stream.
Only two students braved the wetland last weekend when a large group of student came to Palo Verde from UNA (Universidad Nacional). I hope that’s not the case for the folks coming with Kent State this December…
